The Claremont Colleges Debate Union will host a virtual public debate on the topic, ‘The second Trump impeachment did more good than harm,’ on Friday, March 5, 12-1 PM. The event is a collaboration among the Scripps College Pre-Law Society, the Claremont Journal of Law and Public Policy, the Debate Union, and the Public Debate Program. The audience has a significant role in the debate, probing issues during a question and comment period in the middle of the debate and in limited heckling (allowed but somewhat limited online). Of course, the audience votes on the outcome of the debate. In this case, the audience voted for the opposition.
