Office Hours for PDP Students/Coaches/Parents!

Ask questions, investigate controversies, learn basic and advanced debating, coaching, and judging skills. Ask about debate strategy and tactics, advanced argumentation, the rules and conventions, scoring rubric and best judging practices, team organization and training exercises for coaches. In addition, you may, of course, ask about the 2021 Claremont Summer Debate and Leadership Institutes, as well as the Claremont Colleges Debate Union (directed by John Meany, the CCDU, centered at Claremont McKenna College, is the debate, professional communication, and educational outreach center for students of the five undergraduate colleges of the Claremont Consortium – Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer, Pomona, and Scripps).

Meet with John Meany, the founder of the Public Debate Program, author of more than a dozen debate textbooks, and state, national, and international championship coach in diverse debate formats. Exclusive sessions for students, parents, and coaches.
