Seeking HSPDP Debaters Fluent in Spanish – Deadline October 10

Seeking debaters fluent in Spanish (technical proficiency for academic debating) for workshops, demonstration debates, and tournaments in Panama!

In Spring 2019, the HSPDP expanded operations to Panama. Debate programming is in English and Spanish. Hundreds of students and teachers have attended workshops held throughout the country. The first HSPDP tournament (an event in English) was held in July 2020.

In September, the newly trained teachers and league instructors will host 5 regional tournaments in Spanish. Additional tournaments are scheduled in the fall, leading to a championship tournament in November. US HSPDP students have been invited to participate in workshops, demonstration debates, and a championship debate related to the Panama Debate Championship.
