CONGRATULATIONS to all the students participating at HSPDP events this year. The HSPDP is a volunteer-supported program. THANK YOU to the teachers, parents, college students, and community volunteers for extraordinary support for debate programming. The contributions of volunteers ensure that hundreds of students have the opportunity to learn and practice sophisticated public speaking, critical thinking, research, listening, argumentation, and refutation skills. Of note, congratulations are extended to the teachers, coaches, students, parents, volunteers and school administration officials of the Tri-State Debate League, the first HSPDP on the East Coast, with school participants from New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey.
