February 11 Tournament/Topics
The fourth HSPDP league invitational tournament for 2011-2012 will be held at Compton High School, Saturday, February 11, 2012.
The pre-announced topics for the tournament include the following:
1. The United States should tax capital gains at the same rate as ordinary income.
2. The US should establish term limits for Article III federal judges.
The tournament will include additional debates featuring impromptu topics on current events and important public policy controversies. Impromptu motions are announced 20 minutes prior to debates.
