October 29 Tournament/Topics
The opening HSPDP league invitational tournament for 2011-2012 will be held at Claremont McKenna College, Saturday, October 29.
The pre-announced topics for the tournament include the following:
1. The Untied States should implement the Keystone XL project.
2. Jury service should be optional.
The tournament will include additional debates featuring impromptu topics on current events and important public policy controversies. Impromptu motions are announced 20 minutes prior to debates.
